A world of opportunities is opened!
After completing the Biblical and Theological Studies program, students can participate in an additional year of on-the-field study and internship, known as the Advanced Biblical Ministries program. Upon completion, students are awarded a diploma in Advanced Biblical Ministries and a Bachelor of Biblical Studies (B.B.S.) or Bachelor of Religious Education degree (B.R.E.).
ABM students select a track in Christian Education, Missions, Pastoral Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, or Counselling. Each ABM student earns up to 38 semester hours of credit for his/her eight months of mentored internship.
ABM students have served in local churches and missions organizations, at home and on the mission field. We’ve had students go to Japan, Ireland, England, Scotland, India, Brazil, Bolivia, the United States, Uraguay and Kosovo. ABM students have served as far north as northern Quebec, as far south as Texas, as far east as Newfoundland and as far west as British Colombia. All ABM students are placed under the care of a mentor who will help train them, one-on-one, for ministry.
The only costs for the ABM program is your tuition, your textbooks, and any travel costs to your destination. It is the responsibility of the mentor to look after your room and board for your eight month internship.
