Ladies of Grace Conference Update

– Friday, Sept 17, 2021

We regret to inform you that our Ladies of Grace conference will be cancelled for 2021.  We have been looking forward to hosting this conference for some time and we are confident it would have been a blessing to each and every lady that attended.  This difficult decision was arrived at following the recent announcement by the Province of New Brunswick that vaccine passports would be introduced.  Currently our school does not require any of our students to be vaccinated in order to attend NBBI.  We feel that this is a personal choice which is left with each student.  This means that many of our students are vaccinated but many are not.  Since our students are the ones that help us organize and run our conferences, this has put us in an awkward position.  Students are counted on to help serve on worship teams, kitchen, waitressing, and many other tasks.  On top of all of this our lady students are attending the meetings.  With vaccine passports being required for all conferences, the logistics of planning and executing a conference have become an issue.

Our goal, as a school, is to continue to plan for the future (including conferences, retreats etc) and adapt as changes come our way. Please be in prayer for NBBI and we covet your continued support of this ministry. Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, was preparing for an attack by several invading nations when he said, “…for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.”(II Chron. 20:12). Although we do not know what the future holds, we are committed to keeping our eyes on Jesus. Ladies that have registered for the conference will be notified of this cancellation in the next few days.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to contact the school if you have any questions (506 375 9000, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. ADT),
