New Students
Students entering their first year of study at NBBI.
LifeQuest Early Application Bursary – $250
Awarded to incoming freshmen who have submitted their application by March 31st of any given year. (This bursary may not be combined with the College for a Day Bursary.)
College for a Day Bursary – $1,000
Awarded to incoming freshmen who have submitted their application by March 31st and attended one of our College for a Day events in the current academic year.
Summer Ministry Bursary – $1,000
Available to new students who have submitted their NBBI application and a Summer Ministry application by March 31st, and worked at a local camp or other approved ministry during the summer. A minimum of six weeks of full-time ministry is required, along with a recommendation from the ministry head.
Continuing Students
Students immediately returning to NBBI for a second, third, or fourth year of study, or who have taken no more than a one-year break.
Continuing Student Early Application Bursary – $750
Awarded to continuing students (years two and three) who have reapplied and paid their reapplication fee by March 31st of any given year.
Fourth-Year Early Application Bursary – $380
Awarded to continuing students entering their fourth year who have reapplied and paid their reapplication fee by March 31st of any given year.
Summer Ministry Bursary – $1,000
Available to continuing students who have reapplied, submitted a Summer Ministry application, and paid their reapplication fee by March 31st, and who have worked at a local camp or other approved ministry during the summer. A minimum of six weeks of full-time ministry is required, along with a recommendation from the ministry head.
Men for God and Ladies of Grace bursaries are only available to students immediately returning to NBBI for a second, third, or fourth year of study, with no break.
Men For God Bursary – $500
Awarded to immediately returning male students who have reapplied and paid their reapplication fee by March 31st. These bursaries are funded by the Men for God Conference offering and are distributed at Spring Conference each year at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
Ladies of Grace Bursary – $500
Awarded to immediately returning female students who have reapplied and paid their reapplication fee by March 31st. These bursaries are funded by the Ladies of Grace Conference offering and are distributed at Spring Conference each year at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
Reentry Students
Students returning to NBBI after a break of more than one year.
Reentry Early Application Bursary – $250
Awarded to reentry students who are accepted before March 31st of any given year.
Important Note: If a student is eligible for more than one scholarship or bursary, the values will be awarded up to $2,000 ($1,050 for ABM students, $870 for married students), and any remaining amount will be forfeited. Cash scholarships and bursaries at graduation are not included in this cap.
Important Note: Scholarships and bursaries will be divided and applied to student accounts on a per-semester basis (i.e., ½ in the first semester and ½ in the second semester). Non-cash scholarships and bursaries are not refundable.
Important Note: Any of the above scholarships and bursaries are subject to change.
Academic Scholarships: Every year, thousands of dollars in scholarships are awarded during our graduation service. These scholarships are granted based on GPA, Christian character, and class performance. Please note that there is no monetary cap on Academic Scholarships.
